New to Frenchport Church?
We know that visiting a church for the first time can be a little nerve-racking, so here are some helpful tidbits about our services that will help you feel more at ease.
How should I dress?
We are a pretty casual church, when it comes to Sunday morning attire, and we don't make a big deal out of what people wear. Wear what makes you comfortable !
What about my kids?
On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery for ages newborn-23months. And, Children's Church in the Family Life Center (FLC) building following praise and worship for children ages 3-11 years old.
Do I have to change anything about myself before coming?
We welcome people from all walks of life. We don't believe that you have to change yourself before coming to church, because God is the only One who can truly change us!
What do you believe?
We are a non-denominational church that believes that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven, that God is three in one: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and that His Word is absolute truth!
What does your worship look/sound like?
We have a blended style of worship, singing everything from hymns, to the most recent contemporary songs. You'll hear songs by Hillsong, Chris Tomlin, Jeremy Camp and Bethel to name a few. During worship you'll see people clapping, praying, standing, sitting, and even raising their hands. You'll also see some people quietly enjoying the worship experience.
Please come check out one of our services and know that you will feel the presence of God in a special way!
At Frenchport Church we know you'll feel welcome from the minute you enter our building, until you drive off the parking lot! We try our best to provide a warm, and feel-like-home environment. We pray that the fellowship, worship and the Word of God will encourage and challenge you and your family!
